- Fajitas
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breast, steak, or pork, cut into thin strips
- 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
- 1 medium bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
- 3/4 cup Cholula® Fajita Cooking & Simmer Sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- Corn or Flour Tortillas
- Optional Toppings
- Chopped fresh cilantro
- Sliced avocado
- Pico de Gallo
- Cholula® Cilantro Lime Cremosa Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add meat; cook and stir just until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 2 Add onion and pepper to skillet. Cook and stir until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 3 Stir in Fajita Cooking Sauce and water. Return chicken to skillet along with veggies. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is slightly thickened and the meat is cooked through.
- 4 Spoon fajita mixture into tortillas and serve with desired toppings.
